Ever Edge
EverEdge – a brilliant, simple and long-lasting way to maintain tidy garden edges. The edge and the spikes are all made from one piece of steel (no extra pins, pegs or joiners). EverEdge flexible steel garden edging is easy to install, bends to virtually any shape and is available in a variety of colours and depths.
Galvanised & Powder Coated
The EverEdge galvanised and powder coated range is designed to be unobtrusive. The powder coated colours give the impression that the soil is holding a nice neat edge. Generally, the 75mm depth is used to edge lawns with the 100mm and 125mm depths edge garden and vegetable beds. However, the larger depths are also very useful at containing underground grass runners when 35mm of the actual edge as well as the spikes are hammered into the ground.
- Standard powder coated colours are black and brown in 75mm, 100mm and 125mm depths
- 75mm depth also available in plain galvanised (silver)
- Thickness (gauge) is 1.6mm
- Spikes are 95mm long (six spikes per metre length)
- Weights are 1kg for 75mm depth, 1.26kg for 100mm depth, and 1.65kg for 125mm length
Cor-Ten
The EverEdge Cor-Ten range makes a feature of garden edging. Cor-Ten is a type of steel which is designed to weather naturally but not break down like regular steel. A layer of rust forms over the steel and protects the metal underneath from weathering.
The lengths start out a dull silver colour and take 5 weeks to form the rust finish.
- EverEdge in Cor-Ten is available in 100 mm and 125mm depths.
- Thickness (gauge) is 1.5mm
- Spikes are 95mm long (six spikes per metre length)
- Weights are 1.26kg for 100mm depth, and 1.65kg for 125mm length
Garden Rings
Garden rings can be made out of both the Galvanised and Powder Coated finish and the Cor-Ten (rust) finish. The EverEdge lengths are simply bent by hand to form a circle, slotted together and hammered into the ground. The smallest diameter ring is 600mm, for this diameter, it is advisable to use the 75mm depth (being the most flexible) and to drill a hole in the overlapping join and insert a screw or bolt to ensure the clip doesn’t slip apart with the pressure of the bend. For the 900mm diameter circles, it is best to use the 75mm or 100mm depths, for bigger circles the 75mm, 100mm or 125mm depths can be used.
Garden rings can be used to form a circular edge around trees, statues, water features and garden beds. The rings can also be oval – or practically any shape required!
Build your own garden rings:
- 600mm circle uses 2 x 1 metre lengths
- 900mm circle uses 3 x 1 metre lengths
- 1200mm circle uses 4 x 1 metre lengths
