Topsoil

Locally sourced screened soil, suitable for a sub base or to build up low lying areas in your yard.

Topsoil is carefully selected local soil blended with organic matter and river loam to achieve a consistent composition. It is suitable for use as an underlay for new turf or to top dress established lawns.

Topsoil is naturally more dense than 80/20 and has a higher clay content. As a result of this, it does not drain quite as well, so should only be used lightly when top dressing your lawn. It is also extremely important to sufficiently water topsoil into your lawn.

Providing a thin, free-draining medium to cover soil and garden areas to help prevent soil erosion, prevent soil decay and assists with moisture retention in both the morning and evening times where necessary.
